Evolution in technology

 

One of the most important aspects of science, is the technology used to develop it. There were many developments in technology during and after the Renaissance period. One of the most important was, the telescope. The telescope was discovered by Galileo when he saw a small child playing with a wooden tube with a lens at the end. He ended up making a modified version and now we have a tool that helps us develop ideas about what lies beyond the earth and what lies in space.

Evolution in Art, from Medieval to Renaissance

Art during the Renaissance period has become more detailed and more realistic than it was during the medieval times. It has developed depth. Which means that it has a focus point and is kind of three dimensional. It has also evolved in the fact that there has bee more art with religious themes. Also, people seem more realistic.

Evolution in Science

One of the most important events was the evolution of science. People had always thought that everything had revolved around the earth. And it was against church law to prove otherwise. So, when Ptolemy tried to prove that it did not, and that the sun was the center of the solar system, bad things happened to him. Eventually, Copernicus, another astronomer, provided even more evidence to back up Ptolemy's theory and he got his message out to the world.
